At Pathway Prep, our mission is simple: help students find their path to the colleges where they can thrive.

But our story begins long before Pathway Prep existed.

We started as two immigrant students with a big dream — to attend an Ivy League university. Like many families navigating the American education system for the first time, we had no roadmap, no insider knowledge, and very little guidance about how college admissions really worked.

We didn’t understand the importance of building a balanced college list, developing leadership activities, preparing strategically for standardized tests, or crafting compelling personal essays. We only knew one thing: we were determined to succeed.

So we began to learn.

We spent countless hours researching the college admissions process, studying what competitive universities were looking for, and figuring out how to build strong academic and extracurricular profiles. We learned through trial and error, mentors, and persistence.

Over time, the process that once seemed confusing and overwhelming started to make sense.

And we realized something important.

Many talented students — especially those from immigrant families or first-generation backgrounds — face the same challenge we did. They have the potential, ambition, and work ethic, but they lack access to clear guidance about how the admissions process works.

That realization is what inspired us to create Pathway Prep.

Today, Pathway Prep is dedicated to helping students and families navigate the college admissions journey with confidence. We guide students step by step — from building a strong academic and extracurricular foundation to developing a thoughtful college list and crafting compelling applications.

Our goal is not simply to help students get into prestigious schools. It is to help each student find the college that best matches their talents, goals, and passions.

We believe every student deserves access to clear guidance, thoughtful mentorship, and a strategic plan for their future.
